Building Haku, a Biohacking App to Help You Live a Happier, Healthier Life.
“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
I always wanted to build an app. Since I was a child. And I tried. Multiple times! And failed. A lot… Today, I’m trying again. This time with more knowledge. And more experience.
I’m building Haku.
7 years ago, my mother got sick with brain cancer. I got angry at the world. I blamed our hyper-commercialized society. And I wanted to make a change. Make the world healthier. Happier.
I spent the next few years focusing on self-improvement and mastering my craft. Becoming a better version of myself. Building my knowledge along the way. And building who I am today. I got healthier and happier.
I wanted to improve all aspects of my life. In the process, I discovered biohacking. Hacking your health through small, incremental changes in your life.
I started eating whole, unprocessed foods. Sleeping better. Working out consistently. And improving all of that every day. Again, and again. Until I found out what works for me. And what doesn’t.
I did that for myself first. Then for my mom. My family. And my friends. I wanted to make mom proud. And support her.
With Haku, I hope to share that with the world. And achieve my mission. Making the world healthier and happier. In a fun, collaborative, and interactive way.
Haku is community-based, and this will be used as a companion to the app. Updates, challenges, and more will be shared there.
The WhatsApp community is now open! Join it now for free here.
We will start by learning essential methods to improve your sleep. Approved by world-class leaders in the field. Bryan Johnson — the guy who invested millions in his health. Andrew Huberman. Mathew Walker. Dave Asprey. And more.
I’m building Haku to get closer to my personal legend (my purpose). Create a product I’m proud of. And show people how I design products at Startup UI — my design studio.
And I want to build it with you. Your help, your feedback, your ideas. Help me help you become healthier and happier :)
I decided to do that in Seoul, South Korea. For me to get closer to the Soul of the World. And to my personal legend. I recommend that you read The Alchemist. If you don’t know what I’m referring to.
That’s my journey. And I hope to help you with yours.
If you have anything you want to share with me — any ideas, feedback, or comments, feel free to reply to this email :)
